Here's some details on the soap:
1 SLICE of my Black and Gold King Cake SLS free soap scented in a blend of creamy pecan praline, almond pastries and carrot cake which smells like yummy king cake! Each slice weighs APPROX. 3 ounces.
The 'sugar' on the soap is a blend of epsom salts, kosher salt and and gold mica powder coloring. The salts will wash away within a few uses.
All my soaps are SLS Free. What is SLS? SLS stands for Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, a nasty little chemical often used in bath and body products to make it lather. But handmade soap doesn't need that extra chemical...it lathers just fine and is more pure and better for your skin.
Soap also made with Phthalate free fragrance oil.
Ingredients: Coconut Oil, Palm Oil, Safflower Oil, Glycerine (kosher, of vegetable origin), Purified Water, Sodium Hydroxide (saponifying agent), Sorbitol (moisturizer), Sorbitan Oleate (emulsifier), and Soybean Protein (conditioner).body safe colorant and fragrance (colors and fragrance from synthetic and natural sources-not guaranteed to be natural), epsom salts, kosher salt

I was at the House of Blues with my SoldierBoy and enjoying the Foundation Room.
Other fact: I went to high school and am still friends with "THE MAYOR OF WHODATVILLE" who delivered mail in FULL MAYORAL REGALIA on Monday!
I believe I was sewing in the other room... :)
Great soaps! I was chasing Harrison around the living room while he was running into everything (including Papaw's knees) with his walker!
I can attest that this soap smells delicious and lathers well. I love this king cake soap!
When they won, I was at home with my boyfriend in North Las Vegas. We were sitting on the couch. I had gumbo on the stove. I was sure they would not blow the end of the game and would win it. When they did, we both jumped off the couch, cheered, and hugged.
My Saints memory is from when I was a little kid living in New Iberia. I was at my neighbor's house, and I saw a magnet on their fridge that said "who dat." I asked my mom what that was supposed to say. I knew how to read by then but had never seen the word "dat." She said, "Who dat say they gonna beat them Saints?" She usually speaks in correct English, so I was like, "Mama, you're weird."
I was at home watching the game with my hubby.
My memory is: When I was in kindergarten my mom had my little sister. While she was in the hospital my aunt (a big saints fan) would take me to school. Before she would let me out of the car I had to sing "who dat, who dat, who gonna beat dem saints" HAHA I didn't even have a clue what it meant!
I was at home listening to the game and making snacks for my boys who were watching the game.
Where was I? Sitting gin the exact same spot I am now...on the couch, on the computer...and no, I have not been here since :P
Fun Saint's trivia fact.
Jim Mora was the first head coach to bring the Saint's to the playoffs in 1987. They unfortunately lost to the Minnisota Vikings in the first round.
I have to say - that soap may not make it in our house. I have 2 boys and a hubby... I'm sure one of them would try to EAT IT!
It looks too good to be soap!!
*drool*
I didn't even read how to win... I just had to comment! LOL
Ok. Now, to enter. While the superbowl was going down, I was in the kitchen eating chips and this AMAZING tomato bean dip (that I made of course!) and listening to everyone hoot and holler. I was also laughing at my husband who was wearing a handmade T-shirt that said (Stop reading right now Amy!):
GO COLTS! There's just no more room on that Saints bandwagon...
HA!

I was super sick and passed out before it was over, but happy to hear when I woke up the next morning!
No "fan" stories (since we are Eagle fans, living in Dallas...stop laughing the end of the season was enough abuse!) But just today we had lunch with my mom and step dad and he had a Saints hat on, My mom brought it back to him after our trip to NO last summer for my cousin's graduation from Loyola. My step dad was telling Jake that GiGi brought it back from our trip to "New Or LEANs".....Jake said I've never been there but I did to to "New Or Lens" Thought it might make a native proud! :)
I was at my uncle's house watching the game and having a cookout!!!
I was at my inlaws house eating salmon salads thinking "how could this be possible?"
I was with my hubby at home when we watched the Saints win their first ever World Championship!!!
Other Fact: I became a Saints fan when I was an "infant"...We lived in NOLA for a couple of years!!!
Hubby and I were at our friends' house having a mini SB party and watching the Saints WIN the Super Bowl for the 1st time!
I was sitting knitting in the livingroom watching the Saints win of course!
not a big football fan just love those tight ends, and love homemade soap! I was on the computer and chatting.
I watched the game at home with my hubby & kids :)
Random fact: when I was in HS, there was a group of people who wore Saints Football Jerseys to our prom b/c our colors were black & gold. LOL
